Meet the Owners

beau patterson, tiffany patterson, 5th season, 5th season outdoors

Beau and Tiffany Patterson began 5th Season Outdoors (made possible only through the Lord) as a community for sharing, competing, and promoting the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. Beau and Tiffany decided on the “5th Season” since unlike the traditional four seasons, which only last a few months, the hunting and fishing seasons last all year long. Every hunter and anglers’ ideal season may vary, but they all share some passion that brings them outdoors throughout the year.

Beau brings years of experience free range hunting deer, fishing every type of fish from bass to salmon and has plans to launch several of his own patented products in the future.  Beau's blessings include a 150 inch whitetail taken free range and a 170 inch 16-pointer both taken with his bow.  Tiffany handles the technical web development and brand design and follows Beau into the woods as she gains experience.  She has had luck with walleye, bear, and hopefully a deer soon!

Check them out and add them as friends here on 5SO!

5SO Ethics:

5th Season Outdoors values hunters ethics above all else when it comes to the outdoor sporting communities of hunting and fishing.  Integrity is what you do when only the Lord is watching, and we encourage all members of this community to remember that this is where you establish your legacy and how people will remember you years after you are gone.

It is our responsibility to protect the future and validity of all outdoor sports by:

  • Following  all state and local regulations for hunting and fishing
  • Respecting all public and privately held land and landowners
  • Maintaining control of your equipment and weapons at all times
  • Treating all animals humanely including maintaining a high level of good marksmanship

This responsibility also extends to ensuring fellow hunters follow the letter of the law when they are hunting with you.  At 5th Season Outdoors we do not tolerate poaching as this is an illegal activity and only degrades the public image of outdoor sports, especially deer hunting.  If you witness poaching, do not confront any hunters but do contact your local game warden or anti-poaching program.  You can submit the observation anonymously and may even receive a reward.

Beau Patterson has been archery hunting since he was strong enough to pull back his 40 pound youth bow.  At six-years-old he began hunting whitetail deer with his father in the fall. Within a few years Beau was hunting on his own, making the trek into the wood every evening and available morning to use his deer tags. He has honed and developed his skills in the art of spot and stalking, proper descent techniques, as well as how to stay patient and warm in the field.

Over the years Beau took to cultivating pheasants, raising prize winning pigs, stocking ponds with large game fish,  while learning the fine art of turkey and duck hunting. He loves getting out in woods in between seasons and participating in varmint and nuisance hunting of raccoon, ground hog, and coyote.  Beau's dedication to the outdoors is apparent in his drive to constantly learn more and his refusal to settle for second best. Especially when it comes to competition or matters involving his integrity.

Beau's 2008 buck was a blessing and a beauty.  Beau spotted the whitetail bedded in some thick brush. After a few hours of waiting he returned to the spot, stalked up on the eleven-pointer, and made a clean shot broadside.  The monster buck has one split G2 and totals ~140 inches.

The 2010 monster nicknamed "King" boasts sixteen points and unoficially scores 167" after deductions. This beast weighed in at 252 pounds and was also taken free-range with Beau's Hoyt Trykon in late October.  The deer died within 150 yards of the 50 yard shot.

Beau now enjoys taking his wife out hunting and fishing and growing the 5th Season Outdoors business as he comes up with new patentable ideas and relies on the Lord to help expand the 5SO brand.

Welcome to the 5SO Community, the heart of 5th Season Outdoors!  As we grow and learn and bring youth into the outdoor sports we love, it is good to lead those who have yet to fill their waders, almost fall out of a tree stand, and have to remove a barbed hook from their thumb.  Join us as we sit back at the warm campfire enjoying the tree canopy, starry sky, and smells and sounds of a crackling fire after a long day in the outdoors, and share the stories of camaraderie and survival.
