Thermacell mosquito repellent

Has anyone used them and do they work???? because if they do I have to have one.

I can tell you that these bad boys are worth every penny you pay for them. They keep all the insects off of you and are "scent free" (their claim, not mine). Since you were first to reach the next level on your forum postings, we'll include a new ThermaCELL unit in addition to your shirt, hat, and other gear! This way you can let us know first hand what you think of it!

They are worth it not only do I use it hunting, but I take mine down to the lake/river with me as well and I can tell you they are one of the best investments I have made, I even got the lantern to keep on my patio thous bugs can wreck a good evening sittin outside

Ok so I broke out my thermacell two days ago on a nice evening hunt and let me tell ya it works guys, I was gettin eatin alive when I turned this thing on and when I did the mosquitoes flew away in a hurry and I was bug free for three hours. Thanks again 5th season for the thermacell. I recommend it to everyone.

I haven't hunted without my ThermaCell since the first time I used it 3 years ago! The weird thing about it is that I can smell an odor from it, but it doesn't seem to affect deer at all. As a matter of fact, the 13 point buck in my profile pic was only 10 yards from me and my ThermaCell was on. He had no idea I was there. So, if you don't have one, go get one NOW! Your hunting will be so much more enjoyable without those blood sucking skeeters annoying you. You may as well go ahead and buy the holster too. It allows you to carry extra butane cartridges and repellent mats and it has a strap so you can strap it to your arm, leg, stand, etc.
