Looking for reel

Can anyone suggest a quality reel for the money? End of season I broke the pole I've had for 3 years so I'm looking at a whole new setup. Not sure what's recommended on the market...

Bass fishing in my pond and maybe some saugeye.

I am a big fan of the quantum energy reel from Cabela's. it is more on the expensive side but I think that it's worth the money. There are several in my boat and family. They are a little on the heavy side but it's one of the smoothest reels that i have. It's not a reel to just let ride around in the back of the pickup, I have had them stick a bit after I've negelected it and not cleaned it for a year or two. Some people really like them others hate it.

If ya want an awesome rod/reel combo for the money look at pflueger. One of my favorites.
