you'll have to check with your state laws to see if bating is legal. If you do decide to take that route corn is always a hit with the birds and or deer and pretty much anything else that east grains, might get some unwanted visitors.

It's illegal to bait turkeys in Ohio...just look for newly planted fields though. The birds will be out there getting the seed. I think you can plant a food plot for deer that turkey's will also frequent...I'm not sure what kind to plant though as I've never tried it.

Oh and I almost forgot...fresh manure covered fields are great for turkeys...they like to pick out the corn ...my Grandpa shot his first turkey doing just that. I'm sorry though...that's just nasty I don't think I'd wanna eat that thing
